So much goodness happend through Fire Team 1 (FT1) So much so that the NEW meaning of FT became Forever Transformed. It was a beautiful day to be out in God’s creation and He showed up and led us on an amazing journey. As a leader, my perspective is different. There is a great amount of trust that I am challenged by Him to have and He never disappoints. As we began the hike around 6:30am, I myself was under an attack by the enemy through a family situation that I had no control over. I was weary and broken, emotional and had to confess that there was part of me that wanted to run home and check to make sure all was well. BUT GOD has me with this amaing group of people. He had me out in His creation where I find the most peace. He had this plan all along and was asking me to trust Him in a way I hadn’t before.
I saw participants accomplish things they never thought possible. I saw them push through themselves to encounter the Lord. I saw them lift up their voices in praise as we continued on, crossed through a moving stream, and shed tears of , “I don’t think I can do this,” moments. I am so humbled and grateful.
| Encounter God’s Heart… Do the Impossible God often asks us to do impossible things. He’s not setting us up for failure; he’s laying the groundwork for a life of radical faith. When we are aware of our inability, it causes us to depend on him. He is the God of more than enough. He is the One who works through us to do what we cannot do on our own. Jesus loves to turn inadequacy into abundance. Our obedience and willingness pave the way for miracles. When we’re aware of our insufficiency but choose to partner with the all-sufficient One, our faith becomes a magnet for miracles. When the Lord asks us to do something impossible, it isn’t to deter us. It’s so that when he comes through, we’ll know exactly who deserves the glory. Father, you are the God who is more than enough. More than able to turn every hopeless, lifeless situation into a glorious victory. Every promise is true and full of life—rewiring the way I think and uniting my heart to yours. May I always be known as one who dares to believe the impossible is possible with you. |

Fire Team 2 was absolutely an ALL the things experience. I am so proud of all the hikers and the journey that got them to expedition day.
On the Rocky Roads
Every valley will be raised up, ever mountain brought low. The rugged terrain will become level ground and the rough places a plain. Isaiah 40:4
Gos is brilliant. He knows how to do the impossible and loves to surprise us with the unexpected. When we live with the knowledge of his love for us, we begin to see opposition with Heavenly anticipation. We believe he’s going to turn things around, no matter how rocky and difficult the road.
The Lord wants us to replace every negative mindset with faith. When we stand in uncertainty and need clarity, his is the voice leading to level ground. What seems to be one way no longer bothers us or causes fear because we believe his blessing awaits us. This is what happens when we search for him in every situation Dash we find him to be faithful and true. We become fully convinced of his love, and the murmurs of fear dissipate.

Fireteam 3 planning is under way and will be quite a different experience. It will be a multi-day hike that will span over 3 days 🤗 We will hike and sleep, hike and sleep and then hike one last time before we head home (the rounds of sleeping will occur in your own bed, this time around 😁) Registration will open in April so be on the lookout for more information. Planning to launch 5/9/2024 for a late July weekend on the trail.
